tied at the waist

Dress wth Chambray around waist

First things first. I ironed this outfit, I swear. But then there was a baby, a two-mile walk, lunch with a friend with said baby on my lap, then another 2 mile walk. Ironing happens never, but sometimes once. Definitely not twice. Moving on. Tying a shirt around your waist is so ’90s. Amiright? Well, it’s back. Only this time, hopefully, minus Jeremy London in Mallrats. I threw this on for a long walk on my birthday to meet a girlfriend for lunch (we went to Zavino in Midtown and it was fantastic). It was hot, as in 90+ degrees outside, and humid but breezy so I was happy to have a little butt coverage when the wind blew. Also, this dress (er, tunic) looks like a muumuu if it’s not cinched at the waist and I just wasn’t feeling a belt. So there you have it. Side note: I love these sandals, but maybe don’t walk four miles in them.
