I’ve been threatening to shave my head for months now. Long before I had Isla and, well, for as long as I can remember. But it’s been 10 years since I’ve had short hair (and it was awful back then) so I was a bit nervous. Finally, this weekend, I pulled the plug. Honestly, I thought I’d regret the decision, but not even close! These photos were taken on our way to a street festival in the city on Saturday and only a few hours after I got it cut, hence the gorgeous styling job. We shall see if I can keep this up. By the way, I get my hair done at DNA Salon in case you’re looking for an amazing group of stylists in Philly. (No, they do not pay me to promote them, I just happen to be very good friends with my stylist and he’s amazing. No joke.)

In other news, I’ve been searching for a kimono for a while. I absolutely love them and really wanted one I could wear around the city and to the beach but they are all too long and bulky on me. Except this one from H&M. And it was only $24 so bonus!

And finally, I promised I would show you these shoes (now on sale!) from my spring basics post. They just arrived on Friday and I love them! Very comfortable and versatile. A great wedge for walking.
