dear winter

If winter isn’t going to behave, then why should I? I wore white jeans every day this weekend to send a very clear message. Either old man winter better dump some snow on Philadelphia already or knock off this windy city hullabaloo and bring on spring. I am so over blowing away. Sunday our neighborhood was pretty warm, hence the short sleeves, but a few minutes after these photos were taken we walked a few blocks north to catch the subway and the wind was so cold I wanted to run home and hide under a blanket. I just can’t handle it anymore. So look, make a decision or next weekend I’ll be going out in shorts and you, Mr. I think I’m winter but sometimes I act like spring, will be at fault when I get frostbite.

[two things: 1. i can’t stop wearing these Madewell booties. they are so comfortable I kind of want to buy them in every color. they come in leather, too, so I might just have to splurge. and 2. polka dot socks are where it’s at. if you got ’em flaunt ’em.]

Love the outfit! I really hope spring comes as well. It’s still freezing cold where I live and it even snowed a couple days ago :( I’m definitely ready for warm weather.

I could go for a little snow, I just wish the weather would decide already. This windy in-between is no fun! xo
