my husband found a pearl in his oyster last weekend. how cool is that?!
Is it me, or is summer a complete blur that is somehow almost over? I can’t recall exactly where I’ve been or what’s been keeping me so busy, but I’ve had almost no time to myself it seems, and, unfortunately, not much time to blog. I’m a bit stressed, really overwhelmed and in need of a proper vacation, but isn’t everyone? Luckily, I’ve snapped a few photos along the way so maybe this will give us a both a taste of life lately.
i’ve done a lot of shopping! these two forever 21 blouses are my current favorites (found here and here).
i’ve not spent nearly enough time here.
i had my first jury duty, which meant I was able to spend a few hours at Reading Terminal Market, the most amazing indoor market in Philadelphia, which is also home to the city’s best sandwich, DiNic’s roast beef (above). i’ve also enjoyed more than my fair share of delicious oysters this summer and we discovered a favorite: the Cape May Oyster. they are sold both in the city and down the shore and I highly recommend them!
a beachy shot + a city one

more from Reading Terminal Market … pretty flowers, delicious treats, fresh seafood, herbs, sandwiches, wine, you name it, it’s there.

It looks like you’ve been having a great summer so far! I totally agree, it seems like it has flown by and all of the sudden it’s just about August. Happy Thursday!
